SAN DIEGO ZOO
For Dave's birthday we went to the Zoo. Mattie really wanted to bring cupcakes and presents and open them at lunch time at the zoo, so that is just what we did.

Just Like Dad
Jake noticed that his dad was out mowing the lawn, so Jake ran to get his own mower and decided to help his dad with the yard. He pushed his mower around the backyard until his dad was done. He had a great time stepping in the leaves too.

Adventures in the Freezing Cold
It was freezing cold in Utah, I mean the warmest it got all week was 24!!!! The coldest I saw it was 9!
Jake won't wear gloves, so his hands froze and he just didn't know what was going on with them.
We made a snowman, which was not 10 feet tall, but at least we made one.
Mattie and Jake both spoke at the tabernacle.
Here is a picture we took, the dots you see are snow, it was really, really cold.

We always start Christmas by celebrating the best present, Kendra! We went to lunch and Mattie and Jake and their cousin Khloe had a lot of fun playing 3 Little Monkeys!
Mattie was excited to see her pile of toys from santa.
Jake mostly played with all things cars.
