Best Friend Party

Mattie was able to go to the best friends party this past weekend. She got to get all dressed up in a princess gear, and go and see Cinderella. It is now tuesday, and she is still tired, so i am guessing she had a good time

Mattie loves to sparkle, so this was the perfect glam valentine outfit for her. Jake wasn't feeling like taking any pictures, but he was willing to be a scary monster for the camera.

Seal Beach

DISCLAIMER: IF YOU LIVE SOMEWHERE COLD/RAINY/SNOWY PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK:It was too nice of a day yesterday not to go to the beach. After naps, we went to Seal Beach with our sand toys. Jake loved walking on the sand holding his bucket and tools in one hand and my hand in the other. We made our way down to the 'mud' and played in the sand all afternoon. Then when dave got off from work, we went to taco surf for dinner. It was a perfect way to spend a february day!

Disneyland

Since it is no longer freezing cold here, we went to disneyland last night. We got to see 2 princesses which made Mattie happy and Jake was just glad to get out for the stroller. I let them play at the farmers market music stand for a while.

Awards for letters

Mattie got an award at school yesterday, for knowing all of the letters and thier sounds. She didn't know about it and was even more surprised to see her family there to cheer
her on. Jake thought it was all very boring, so he played with handcuffs.

Tooth Fairy is Comming Tonight

Mattie lost her first tooth today. It has been loose for about 6 weeks. Today while doing her homework, it was so lose. But she didn't want me to touch it. So she went to ballet. While doing her ballet exam work, she was doing pony cantors and her tooth just came out. She told her teacher, and one of the mother's who was watching dance found her tooth. Mattie was very excited to have the tooth fairy come and to get money and a note. I didn't know the tooth fairy left money and a note, but according to the book mattie's aunt kelly gave her, the tooth fairy gives money and a note. So we put her tooth under her pillow at bed time, and said her prayers, which included, please help the tooth fairy to come and give me money and a note and please help my brother to stop screaming :) Mattie keeps her prayers to the basic current needs.
