2nd Grade

Mattie started 2nd grade today! She didn't even seem scared. We all walked her to school today and waited with her for her teacher.

Old Town

So I am still going through our Oceanside Pictures. Here are some from our little trip to Old Town. They had been apart for all of about 3 minutes :)Some old time photos I did.

Jake

So yesterday, Mattie and Jake were playing while I was doing laundry. Mattie came to tell me that Jake had put a marble up his nose! Well I could sort of see it ALL the way up his nose! So I got everyone in the car and rushed him to our pediatrician. Well they papposed him down and tried and tried to get it out but she could not get a hold on the bead. So she called the ENT and got us in with him. So we rushed over there and they had to papoose him down and the doctor went to work, and tried and tried, and then we talked about surgery tomorrow and then he tried again and moved it some but he couldn't get it out then Jake coughed and it came out and landed on his screaming tongue!! He was very happy to have it out and to be free from the papoose! He went to sleep on the way home and slept all night and woke up at 6 asking for some cereal!

4 hours, $40 in copays, 2 doctors offices, 1 beadless boy is how I would sum up yesterday :)

And since a post with out pictures is worthless, here is jake this morning. Look what Jake caught when he was fishing in his bath!

Jake

Jakey goes to gymnastics every week, and he is surrounded by women everywhere he goes :)

Anyways, this week, he asked me if I would please bring my camera :) So of course, I brought my camera. Whenever I put my camera away, he would start yelling mom mom, pictures! So he got pictures. And not to help my budget at all, I realized that I need to get the 70-200mm ($1500) lens :( I already knew I needed that lens, but now it is official, sorry Dave :)

Mattie is 7!

So finally, Mattie got her 7 year old pictures done! I know, I am so bad. But finally my friend Heather and I took Mattie out for her photo shoot. She was a very willing model. Here are a few from her session.

She did such a good job, I asked her to give me a funny face. She was so funny!

Today we took some grandkid pictures since everyone was here. There are more, but for tonight here is one I LOVE of Mattie and my Dad. I am going to print it for her room

Here is one of just Miss Mattie. Mattie will be going on her much awaited 7 year old photo shoot this weekend :)
Don't worry mom, there are plenty of other pictures with all of the grandkiddos, I just loved this one.
