Sea World, San Diego Trip

While we were in San Diego for the weekend, we went to Sea World!  We got to watch the Sea Lion Show.

We of course saw Shamu

Jake and Dave sat in the last row of the 'soak zone' (they did not get wet) Mattie and I sat in the safe for curly hair and cameras zone ;)

Jake would not pose for a picture with the silly girl penguin, but had they had a boy one, he would have.

Love is in the air

Valentine's is sneaking up, so last saturday, before riding lessons, we did a mini-photoshot! Things may have got a little silly!

I love this one of Mattie!!

  

And last year, my Christmas cactus did not bloom :(  but this year it did!! And what is more important, is that I have kept it alive for over 2 years!!!

Crystal Cove

This morning the kids and I went down to Cyrstal Cove for a little fun.

Since Dave is now working on Saturdays, I thought it would be fun for us to get out and do something.  So I signed the kiddos up for horse ridding lessons.  Jake was super brave, and had a blast!

 He hopped right on to the saddle, no trouble at all

 after class feeding the horses.

Mattie is signed up too, but her class went where I couldn't watch, so watch out for pictures next week

Discovery Zone

 Over Christmas break, we went to thte discovery center.
They always like to build a dam and trap up all the water. 

 Mattie noramlly won't do the hockey game, but that day she did, and she rocked it!  She stoped 4/5 goals!!!
