Weather Today

Well we finally had some rain, just a little bit, but still it counts. It rained a little early this morning, and when I went to take some stuff out to my car, this is what I found.

Puppet Show

Last year for Christmas, Mattie got this super cute Puppet Set. She hasn't ever played with it like I thought she would, but lately, she has been all about puppet shows, and Jake loves to watch them. We are lucky enough to have a puppet show for FHE tonight :) Mattie is in charge of that :)

Jake's Day

Yesterday, I had to pick Jake up from school a little early, so early he did not get to eat his lunch with his friends. While I was talking to his teacher, Jake ran and got his lunch and sat down at the tables, because he wasn't leaving with out eating his lunch. So I offered that if we went home, he could eat his lunch outside all by himself, this was a go for him. So here he is eating alone, and then playing alone.

After his lunch it is nap time, so I started the battle to get him down, eventually I won, and then the phone rang and I had to go get Mattie from school, she claimed her tummy hurt. So since I had to wake Jake up anyways, I took this picture because this is all the stuff he was playing with right up until he finally fell asleep.

Pumpkin Patch

Last night we went to the Pumpkin Patch in Seal Beach. Mattie and Jake had so much fun walking through the pumpkins and getting to play on the giant slide, bumper boats and other carnival games. They were both so surprised when Papa showed up!

Help me choose which one should be Jake's school picture. He and I went on a little photo shoot in downtown Fullerton while Mattie was in ballet. He had fun climbing on stairs and actually was a willing subject.

Jake wanted to have his picture taken today, no really he did I swear, what he doesn't know is that we are going to take a lot of pictures today while Mattie is in ballet. Look at those eye lashes!

This is how i found Jake today, his sister was still at school, his mom finally turned the air back on, he had a chocolate milk, and he was getting to watch some tv.

Halloween Time

Last night we went to California Adventure for Mickey's Halloween Party. Mattie and Jake are both super heroes, Mattie was Wonder Woman and Jake was Super Man. There were a lot more people than in the past, but it was still fun. Jake got really into his part.Jake even found a double, for when he needed a break. Up, Up, and Beyond!

Disneyland

Mattie had today off from school, so we went to Disneyland. (Jake would have rather gone to school). It wasn't hot so that was a plus. Jake Loves the Jungle Book Ride!
