Mammoth Trip Day 1

For our summer vacation this year, we went up to the Mammoth area.  We tent trailer camped up at Convict Lake.  The weather promised rain, and it rained every day we were there but it was still a good trip.

After our campgrounds were set up, we headed the 100 yards to the lake for some fishing.

 And Dave caught one!! But it was too small, so back it went to be caught another day.

 And then Dave caught a keeper!

Since we only caught the one keeper, we gave it away and headed back to bbq some hamburgers before the rain came.
But Jake and I went on a photo walk

After dinner, our own deer came to visit and accept any leftovers.  We named him Bambi.

I am pretty sure he would have eaten from Jakes hand if I had let him.
