Mammoth Trip Day 3

Day 3 the sun came out and stayed! So we started our day by fishing for our dinner.  

 Doing the fish dance, its similar to a rain dance however there is a lag time in results.

 Finally we caught a fish!  Now keep in mind, we don't have food for dinner tonight if we don't catch more fish or find pizza hut that will deliver :)

 Well the fish were not biting so we headed back to Mammoth to go on the Gondola to the top!

 Top of the world, 11,506 feet, we live at a whopping 56 feet.

 I loved the clouds!

 After the Gondola ride, we let the kids climb the rock wall.  Mattie rocked, she raced up nearly to the top in record setting speed then noticed she was about 50 feet in the air and decided she would rather come down.

 Jake took more encouragement to get on the wall.

 then more encouragement to keep going, but he did make it to the top and then rang the bell!

 Now zip lining, Mattie was all over this!

 So we headed back to our campsite to fish for our dinner, and Mattie's fish dance kicked in!

 Hello dinner.

 Now you see the two fish waiting to be eaten off to the right, well Jake would go pet them and say its okay your going to be my dinner :)

 After it was dark we did some light painting!
